The Restaurant
This French restaurant is one of the best in the Gulf
While the name is far from inspired, the concept of this elegant French restaurant very much is.
Built to replicate a stylish private residence – tables are set up in different zones, including a library and a music room – dining here is akin to going to your friend’s house for a dinner party (if they lived in a manor house).
The restaurant itself is light and airy, with large windows that look out onto the Burj Khalifa and the lovely Address Boulevard’s gardens.
Food here is inspired by the French Riviera, so expect plenty of fresh seafood options and lots for vegetarians. Expect salad niçoise, made with yellowfin tuna, beef tartare, or red prawn and scallop crudo. The Restaurant also serves some of the best oysters in town.
The Mediterranean flavours continue throughout the main courses – the slow-cooked Angus beef short rib, served with creamy polenta and smoked thyme jus is a particular favourite.
