Trying to recreate the heart-warming vibe of a rustic Southern French farmhouse can be fraught with cliché, but this new venture from notable American chef David Myers skilfully avoids those pitfalls.

It is a beautiful, enticing space, where refined Provence cuisine is created around an impressive wood-fired grill, where rich flames roast fine meats, fresh seafood, and robust vegetables.

The menu is simple, and split into bread, raw starters, cooked starters, wood-fired mains and vegetables, followed by deserts. Diners are advised to order a couple of starters to share, and then move on to the mains.

If it wasn’t for the wonderful Business Bay views, a meal here could fool you into feeling like you’ve spent a couple of hours in a quaint farmhouse.
