Vineet Bhatia has taken Indian food to levels that some believed impossible.
Indego has been Bhatia’s vehicle to prove the naysayers wrong. His dishes are inventive, clever and delicious (try the macadamia-crusted kokum sea bass, with coconut-pumpkin seed kedgeree) and opens diners to the idea that there is so much more to the cuisine than just curry – although those are rather excellent too.
While the restaurant itself is dark and moody, it maintains a fun dining vibe that makes dinner feel like an event.
