Customers can get a huge number of deals over the two-day event

Amazon UAE is bringing back its annual Prime Day event, giving customers a huge number of discounts across almost all its wares.

The 48-hour event will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13 and 14, 2020.

It gives Amazon Prime members the chance to bag exclusive offers across thousands of deals, all available on amazon.ae. Amazon also makes it pretty easy to get in on the deals if you are not a Prime member, with a 30-day free trial.

While Prime Day has not yet commenced, there are some early deals available for Prime members on the site starting today, Monday September 28.

According to amazon, there will be reductions on TVs, electronics, mobile phones, kitchen, home products and all of Amazon’s devices, such as its Kindle Readers.

“This year’s Prime Day is the perfect opportunity for Prime members to get their shopping done from the comfort of their homes while enjoying some of the best deals and savings across all categories on Amazon.ae,” Ronaldo Mouchawar, vice-president of Amazon Mena, said in a statement.

“In the midst of an unprecedented year, we’re committed to making this year’s Prime Day even more successful than last year as we give members across the UAE the chance to save big on everything they need and love.”

In case you missed it, the pandemic has been very good for some people, most notably Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who has seen his personal net-worth increase by about US$70 billion dollars.

That now gives him a personal net worth of over US$200 billion, making him not only by far the richest man in the world but also the first person to ever amass that amount of wealth.
