The heavy metal band were due to perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on May 27

Another victim of the coronavirus pandemic is Iron Maiden’s Dubia concert that was supposed to be held this May.

Sadly, the concert has been cancelled. The heavy metal band were due to perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on May 27.

The band’s visit was a part of their Legacy of the Beast World Tour.

As the name suggests, the world tour celebrates the legacy of the band, it is dubbed as a “history/hits tour”, so Dubai-residents were set to mosh to electrifying numbers like The Trooper, Run To The Hills, and Number of the Beast.

However, if you’re a ticket holder, then you get a full refund.

“We’re sorry to announce that due to the international measures being taken to ensure the public’s health and safety, the upcoming Iron Maiden show scheduled to take place at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 27th May has to be cancelled,” read a statement from the organisers.

“Existing ticket holders will receive a full refund from their original point of purchase within 21 working days.”
