And you can watch it right here

Travis Scott chose to open his Astronomical Tour virtually, using Fortnite to do it – the event drew the biggest live audience in the game’s history raking in more than 12.3 million players.

Last year, Marshmello attracted 10.7 million concurrent viewers, for his virtual performance.

The turnout for Scott’s record-breaking event was no doubt improved due to the global quarantine brought on by COVID-10. In fact, it was probably the only concert to go live during the month of April.

That 12.3 million players will go up, too. Epic Games only counted the viewer numbers from those in-game players, and not the number of views from Twitch and YouTube live events.

During the performance, Scott debuted a new track called ‘The Scotts’ featuring Kid Cudi, which is now available on Apple Music and Spotify.

After the event, Scott also released new merch including an action figure set, a NERF Elite Dart Blaster and gaming jerseys.
