Master of collaboration Mr Abloh has launched a decent capsule unisex collection with the French swimwear brand Vilebrequin. Consisting of five key pieces, Virgil and the Italian brand Off-White have combined the perfectly tailored yet casual charm of Vilebrequin with the graphic logo inspired simplicity of Off-White.
Dreaming of summer, sun and beach vacations, the swimming trunks collection consist of styles in an array colours and prints; two styles featuring the arrow logo in black and in white and the remaining three styles in acid yellow, floral and black and white stripes. They’re crafted from Vilebrequin’s quick-drying technical twill that’s fitted with a fluorescent-orange drawstrings and are patterned in white with “OFF” prints at the front and an emblematic arrow print on the back patch pocket. Each sporting a different take on Off-White’s logos and branding.
These distinctive designs will surely sell out quickly as like many of Virgil‘s collaborations, he has a knack of making them available and accessible to the average consumer on the street who may not be able to afford the Off-White hoodie just quite yet. As the Fresh Prince would say ‘it’s time to sit back and unwind’.
