The true ‘Bond Car’ is going under the hammer later this year, and we really mean the real deal, it has all the gadgets that you saw in the movies as well.
This 1965 DB5 is one of only two examples purchased by Eon Productions for the launch of the Bond film ‘Thunderball’. It is also the third of four examples built to the ‘Q Brand’ specifications as featured in ‘Goldfinger’ – this means it has all the gadgets.
The car was restored in 2012, which included the job of refurbing all of the special effects modifications.
The price of this former promo car is unknown, it’s expected to go for well over $4 million.
