Aston Martin has just unveiled the pricing and a glimpse of the interior for its upcoming DBX SUV. So what exactly does a nearly US $200,000 interior look like?
Well, thankfully for that eye-watering cost it looks incredibly luxurious. The car is slated to be unveiled in late-November this year, and in the meantime Aston has given the world one look at the interior.
It shows a tan leather cocoon, complete with expansive glass, aluminium touches and ‘A LOT’ of leg room considering this is the same company that makes streamlined supercars.

According to motor1, Aston Martin spent six months tinkering with the driver’s position to give the user the best visibility and comfort possible. The 007-car company also consulted “high net-worth individuals” to figure out the most luxurious button configuration possible for the centre console.
Aston Martin assures that the interior is elegant and that extra attention has been given for storing “larger items”.
With the car so close to unveiling, much is still left unknown. The price has been revealed to start at US $189,900 and the mysterious super-SUV will come in a variety of different specs.
Autocar points the car will come with an Aston-made 5.2 litre V12, which will be the most expensive, a Mercedes-AMG V8 engine, or an all-electric version. The V12 engine will be the same one as used in a top-end DB11, packing 630 horsepower. The V8 engine will pack 542 horsepower and the punch of the electric model is currently unknown.
Aston Martin’s entry into the ‘super-SUV’ market isn’t exactly unusual. Bentley showed off its Bentayga in 2016, Lamborghini starting producing its Urus SUV in 2018, as did Rolls Royce with its Cullinan. Both McLaren and Ferrari are also said to be working on their own SUVs to enter the new market.
The Aston Martin car will be shown off officially on November 20 in Beijing.
