The $500k armoured Bentley can handle everything from massages to machine guns

INKAS is a company specialising in armoured vehicles and offering the highest level of protection and security on the road. The company has now taken on the Bentley Bentayga SUV as its next test subject in luxury meets security.
The Bentley Bentayga might have been a surprise at first when it came out in 2016. A super-luxe car maker taking on SUVs wasn't always normal, these days though it totally is. 2017 saw the Lamborghini Urus SUV land on our streets and 2019 saw the Rolls Royce Cullinan.
In the eyes of INKAS, a super-security company, the luxury cocoon that is the Bentayga was the perfect subject to be kitted out with the kind of gear you'd find in James Bond's garage.
For a mere U.S. $500,000, the Armoured Bentley Bentayga SUV could be yours and with that price tag comes ballistic protection for the entire passenger area, fuel, battery and electronic control unit compartments, as well as floor-to-roof protection to withstand the likes of an AK47 or an AR10.
The car can also withstand two hand grenades being set off underneath thanks in part to the reinforced suspension. It also has bullet-proof glass which is tinted, and reinforced door hinges and runflat devices.
If you're in the market for this car, chances are you're the sort of discerning individual that can afford the optional extras. Unlike other cars where options include a mini fridge in the back or leather floor mats, the INKAS Bentley gives you options fit only for 007.
According to Forbes, options include Tailpipe Protection, Shocking Electric Door Handles (seriously), Signal Jamming, Chemical Protection System, Fire Source Detection to find a wide range of nearby firearms, Surveillance System which allows collection of intel via sight, sound or radio transmission, and even a Smoke Screen for a speedy getaway.
Speaking to Forbes, the company's CEO David Khazanski explained that:
"The Bentley Bentayga, when equipped with its W12 powertrain, is one of the fastest luxury SUVs in the market today. Our priority was to leverage the vehicle's value by adding high-quality ballistic characteristics without sacrificing its technical performance.
"We use innovative lightweight materials, but at the same time certified to all globally-recognized ballistic standards. This vehicle successfully protects its passengers from assault rifles and grenades but does not behave too differently on the road from an unarmored Bentayga."
Unsurprisingly for half a million dollars, this car hardly compromises on the indulgence. The interior is finished in leather, with bespoke wooden accents, aluminium and chrome details. Other features include 24-Way climate and massage from seats with climate Executive Class rear seats, Automatic Access Height, Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting, Heated Wood and Leather steering wheel and a Signature Surround Sound System.
The car is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 producing 600 horsepower and 664 lb. ft. of torque with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The W12 Bentayga has a top speed of around 187 mph and can reach 60 mph in four seconds.
