Aston Martin has revealed its first-ever motorcycle, the AMB 001, developed in partnership with Brough Superior.
The bike will be revealed at the EICMA motorcycle show, in Milan on November 7, 2019.
The new machine is quite remarkable due to its power-to-weight ratio of just 1-horsepower per kilogramme. Under the hood you get a 997 cc V-twin engine, that will deliver 180-horsepower and a 6-speed transmission. The entire bike weighs only 180-kilogrammes.
The extremely lightweight body is all down to the use of carbon fibre and titanium in the chassis, while aluminium was used in the wheels.
As you’d expect, the bike features Aston Martin’s winged logo engraved on the tank, and on its front.
The production of the bike – sadly, only track-only – will be limited to just 100. Each will be sold for around US$100,000 a pop. First deliveries are planned for late 2020.
