TAG Heuer gives the Autavia a UAE-inspired refresh.
Dubai Watch Week and retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons have launched a few products to celebrate this year’s horological extravaganza, but this Autavia UAE Limited Edition is surely our favourite.
It builds upon the success of TAG’s Autavia 02 and produced some aesthetic changes that fit with our city in the desert.
The most obvious difference is the dial; it’s no longer black. It’s cream, which sits nicely against the caramel colour on the bezel and the sub-dials. The colour – and texture on the sub-bezels (which mimic desert dunes) – are a homage to the UAE’s beautiful landscape.
TAG Heuer chose to round off this UAE-inspired package with a special strap on this limited edition; camel leather.
There are only 150 pieces of the UAE Autavia, all of which will be available solely in the UAE. Only ten pieces are available right now, while the other 140 will be delivered between now and January.
The price of the watch is AED 21,500.
