Vacheron Constantin has unveiled a new collection – Les Collectionneurs – here in Dubai.
The collection is made up of vintage timepieces, lovingly restored by Vacheron Constantin’s watchmaking masters.
Chosen by the Maison’s heritage department experts, classic watches covering the whole 20th century are currently a part of the collection. Ten classic timepieces, all impeccably restored to pristine condition, are currently in Dubai, which was picked among a large list of cities to showcase “Les Collectionneurs” around the world this year.
The idea of vintage is second nature to Vacheron Constantin. The maison has accumulated a unique archive of watches, from its vast 260-years of watchmaking history.
Because its history, the manufacture is also able to treat — and repair if needed — any watch from its workshops, whatever its age. A closer look in its archives and its private collection of over 1,500 timepieces provides an excellent insight into the historical depth of the maison’s watchmaking talents, and the means used to nurture it.
“Les Collectionneurs” represents another facet of Vacheron Constantin,” said Christian Selmoni, Style & Heritage Director.
“The collection perpetuates this precious link between past and present, enabling our clientele of connoisseurs and collectors to acquire restored vintage pieces directly through the Maison, which is a real guarantee.”
“As for the events organized around the world to unveil these pieces, they attract both seasoned collectors and young generations eager to delve more deeply into watchmaking history.”
You can see Vacheron Constantin’s Les Collectionneurs range at the brand’s Dubai Mall boutique until the end of February.
