Not quite. Bamford’s ‘Service Watch’ was never meant for customers, but now it’s up for sale

Taking a cue from car dealerships and high-end watch boutiques, last year saw Bamford introduce a service watch. The idea was that when a client would leave a watch behind – either to be customised or serviced – this model would be lent out.

However, people loved it, and wanted to purchase one for themselves. Hence, the introduction of the Bamford Mayfair Watch – a highly customisable, 40mm watch in a case made in matte black or matte grey, and a bezel made from Hi-Tech matte ceramic or anodized aluminium. All indices are finished in LumiNova. The watch is poered by a Quartz Miyota 2035 movement.

Of course, this is a Bamford after all. And so the dial is available in range of custom colours, as is the strap.

That’s all the information we know right now, but there’s a big countdown to the proper launch of Bamford’s website. 23-days and counting…
