Saint Laurent has gone it alone, and showcased its new men’s collection independent of the industry

It’s a brave new world, and absent the international hype around fashion weeks brands like Saint Laurent are embracing the new.

It decided to showcase its new men’s spring/summer 2021 collection online. The campaign around the collection, dubbed, “No Matter How Long The Night Is” encourages viewers to get lost in the new collection, which is a heady mix of textures and timeless tailoring.

The new collection is at the same tie both a “virtual and physical experience” says Saint Laurent Art Director, Anthony Vaccarello. The release includes vidos, augmented reality clips, 3D images, curated playlists, flags, posters and more.

It chose to unveil the collection with a new brand film, which you can enjoy below:

The new collection is all about quiet opulence, and includes bomber jackets, coats, blazers and ankle-length shirts. The new collection makes use of lush patterns and rich textiles.

You can also expect the return of Saint Lauren’t signature skinny ties, and silhouette-shrinking jeans offered in the brand’s token black.
