Reyn Spooner is one of the OGs of the Hawaiian shirt scene.

The brand has been around since 1956, rising to prominence with toned-down takes on classic aloha patterns that manage to retain all the fun and boldness while keeping things eminently wearable. Just last year, the brand’s archival prints—more than 10,000 of them—were fully digitized to retain that history for future generations. And thanks to longtime fan Todd Snyder, we’re already seeing what can happen when Reyn Spooner’s signature vibe is brought to bear on new styles and shapes.

The Todd Snyder + Reyn Spooner collection, which just launched this June, takes five vintage Spooner prints and puts them on everything from New Era caps to unstructured blazers and, of course, easygoing short-sleeve shirts. The finished result is a lineup of clothing and accessories that blends New York refinement with a whole lot of summery relaxation.

In other words: exactly what you’ll want to be wearing for the next few months.
