There were some major challenges issued on social media site Twiitter recently, with Justin Bieber challenging Mission Impossible frontman Tom Cruise to a fight in the UFC Octagon.
The 25-year-old pop icon challenged Cruise via his personal Twitter account and said: “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon,” Bieber, 25, tweeted on Sunday. “Tom if you dont take this fight your [sic] scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite ?”

The reasoning behind the challenge still remains a mystery but controversial UFC fighter Conor McGregor chimed in with his personal Twitter account to further call out the 56-year-old Top Gun actor offered to host the fight and included a little dig of his own.
“If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout.
Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”

He then issued a challenge of his own, calling out Mark Wahlberg to fight the same night.
“I challenge Mark Wahlberg on the very same card. Back when Mark Wahlberg was Marky Mark, I’d’ve still slapped the ears off him and took my UFC shares back,” he wrote.

We’re not sure if McGregor should go around issuing such pointed insults to two of Hollywood’s biggest names who are known for their atheletic prowess.
If we had to pick, our money would on both Cruise and Wahlberg. The question on everyone’s mind however is if they will accept. The challenge has been issued.
