Tom Brady is 40 years old, making him a confirmed Old Man on the American football field. He has done a lot in those 40 years – won some Super Bowls, been friends with Donald Trump, thrown some footballs. He has also got a reputation for being a bit of a food freak.
For example, he and Gisele Bundchen’s subscribe to a plant-based, organic, gluten-free, GMO-free, sugar-free, caffeine-free, flour-free, pepper-free, mushroom-free, tomato-free, and dairy-free diet.
Brady has a new publication out with recipes and workouts that almost humanizes his diet plan. “I am not opposed to beef, of course. We’ve got roast chicken in here,” he advised CBS This Morning whilst offering a tour of the kitchen. See?

Brady is vigilant about eating foods that reduce inflammation, so it’s only 80 percent of his diet that is composed of vegetables and fruits (Just not strawberries.)
In addition, he drinks half his body weight in ounces of water every day (he weights 230 lbs., therefore that he drinks 115 oz of water)
“I love to work out. I love to train. I love to eat good. And you understand why I love to eat good? ‘Cause it makes me feel better,” Brady said in only a somewhat defensive manner. And hey, if he got him to 40 looking like that, perhaps he’s got a point.
