Studio One Hotel gives couples a private cinema and access to a private room

Dubai’s Studio One Hotel is making good use of their private cinema room, offering couples the chance to spend some alone time while watching films, then giving them access to a hotel room for the night.

Given the global pandemic and all, going out can be a bit of a drag. But after six months of staying indoors, that is proving rather boring to boot.

Enter Dubai’s Studio One Hotel, which is now offering its private movie theatre to the public.

Packages include the aforementioned ‘Private Screening for two’, which gives you dinner, a two-hour private screening with drinks and snacks, as well as a room for the evening. The world’s poshest Netflix & Chill experience will set you back AED1,000.

There are also generic packages for adults (maximum 12 people due to social distancing) that gives you drinks and snacks at AED200 per person. You don’t get a free room.

Those wishing to partake don’t actually get Netflix’s stock of films and series (for better or worse), instead there are three content libraries including the Family List, the Crowd Pleaser and the Action packed list.

All in all, there are around 150 films to choose from.

The screening room is available seven days per week. But due to social distancing measures it’s best to give them a ring well-beforehand. Otherwise, it will be another evening spent on the sofa.
