Abu Dhabi has celebrated the UN’s Global Goals House event by lighting up the capital’s largest landmarks.
Some of the emirate’s most recognisable buildings, including of the grand ADNOC headquarters, and the Marina Shopping Center’s Sky Tower, were brightened up with the Global Goals Residence logo.
Abu Dhabi is holding a series of web-based panel conversations and talks on the future of technology. The Global Goals House event kicked off last night and will run all this week from Abu Dhabi’s Hub71.
The on-line summit brings together government leaders and market specialists, with an aim to take on some of the globe’s most pressing problems.
The summit will obviously put the global pandemic front and center.
Other sessions will concentrate on the likes of Black Lives Matters movement, building business for women in Africa, sustainable fashion, and the global food crisis.
