Live events are back on schedule with new safety procedures

The Coca-Cola Arena has announced that live shows are coming back, with some new safety procedures.

The venue will see the return of audiences from November 2020 along with a new protocol called ‘Venue Shield’.

Venue Shield includes enhanced cleaning procedures, social distancing across seating and concourse areas, disinfectant and fogging machines used across the arena, thermal cameras and hand sanitizer dispensers across the arena.

The protocol was developed with help from the Dubai Municipality, the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing and international safety guidelines.

“We are very pleased to be able to provide live entertainment to the community of Dubai again, and we are excited to welcome the OJ Lifestyle team to Coca-Cola Arena on November 20th,” Guy Ngata, CEO of Coca-Cola Arena said.

“There has been a tremendous amount of work implemented across many sectors in Dubai to get to this point, and we are pleased to now open our doors again with the safety of our guests of the utmost importance.”

The next events on the cards for the Arena include Dark Knights Edition 1.0 – a night of RnB, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton – on November 20, followed by Dark Laughs, feautufing British comedian Paul Chowdhry.
