Following what you could perhaps call a rocky year for The Notorious Conor McGregor, the former MMA champ posted a pic of him and his long-term partner, comparing themselves to British royalty.
Back in 2008 before his MMA days, McGregor had just dropped out of a plumbing apprenticeship when he spotted Dee Devlin in an Irish nightclub where the pair began chatting. Fast forward to now and the pair are still together, along with having two children.
According to various sources McGregor has previously gushed that “My girlfriend has been there since the start. She has helped me throughout this career. If it wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today.”
It was in 2015 that The Notorious managed to defeat José Aldo to become the UFC Featherweight Champion.
Even throughout this year, where McGregor has been entangled in a few dodgy stories, including his unofficial brawling with Khabib upon losing, Delvin has been by his side and showing the love.
In a recent Instagram post, the pair can be seen together with Delvin smiling and McGregor looking a bit scary. The post, which has over one million likes at the time of writing is captioned as: “Harry and Megan who ?”
This is a reference to the members of the British royal family Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
McGregor is certainly MMA royalty, having been champion various times over the years in a handful of divisions. The Irishman however lost his Lightweight Champion title to Russia’s Khabib Nurmagomedov last year and has not returned to the octagon since. He has recently been showing signs of a return, posting a cryptic image of himself in Russia.

It is confirmed by his Twitter the fighter is making an announcement on the future of his career soon in Russia.
