Turns out Versace’s latest Fall/Winter menswear collection is a collaboration with Ford.
Think Versace and you have in your head a lot of blacks, a lot of whites, and golds, now though you need to prepare for a lot of Ford logos.
Back in Milan earlier this year as Versace’s onslaught of models strutted down the walk in Ford covered hoodies.

Esquire Middle East recently wrote that Lexus owners are the most loyal of all lux car owners, though if you’re going to strut around in Versace x Ford, we may have to add Ford owners to the list too.
“A type of equilibrium is achieved when you blend a luxury brand with an attainable one,” says Joy Falotico, president of Lincoln Motor Company and Ford’s chief marketing officer. “The success of this and other collections like it proves that people enjoy it. It surprises them in a fun way.”
Versace has always been a brand to do thing differently, it uses bright and jarring colours, it doesn’t go easy on the patterns and it uses weird materials such as metal, leather and mesh.
It’s a brand that is less ‘safe’ than other more approachable brands like Burberry or Gucci, it’s not something you can tuck away with the rest of your outfit, if you have something Versace on, people will spot it a mile away.
The head-scratching collaboration with Ford is further proof of Versace’s quest to do fashion outside the box. The Ford collection is laid back, sporty and fun. With hoodies, t-shirts and loose trousers all on offer.

The question is however, would you fork over $1,000 for a Ford hoodie? The hoodies in the collection are plain white or black, have a big Ford logo on the front, and the Versace name on the hood. It’s more of a social statement than a fashion one, “I’m wearing a Ford hoodie by Versace because I can”.
All the products, including the straight leg jeans are 100% cotton.
This t-shirt costs $475 on Browns.

Versace said the brand teamed with Ford to channel the “excitement of buying your first car,” and the masculine energy around a powerful engine.
The items for the most part are exclusive to Browns, which you can check out here.
