Lexus customers ‘most loyal’ of all luxury drivers

A new automotive brand study shows that Lexus customers are the most loyal. That’s closely followed by Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
This comes from the JD Power survey that asks luxury car owners which brand they’d most likely spring for their next purchase.
Toyota’s luxury division, Lexus came out on top, with a loyalty percentage of 47.6 per cent. That means almost half of all Lexus drivers would happily purchase a new Lexus as their next motor.
In second place was Mercedes-Benz (44.2 per cent) and BMW (43.5 per cent).
Jaguar sits at the bottom of the list. Only one in five Jaguar drivers would purchase a second Jaguar (20.6 per cent), and the space between it and the second-to-last brand – Infiniti (32.1 per cent) – is staggering.
The brand study also looked at mass-market brands. Subaru was the overall winner (a whopping 61.5 per cent) and then Toyota (59.5 per cent) and Honda (57.7 per cent).
Rounding out the bottom three of the mass-market brands were smart (just 14.3 per cent), followed by Chrysler (14.4 per cent) and Fiat (16.5 per cent).
