The world’s most famous archeologist is back! Indiana Jones is returning for it’s fifth installment along with it’s star cast of Harrison Ford in front of the camera and Steven Spielberg behind the lens.
Controversially, Ford, during an interview on ‘The Today Show’, explained that he is Indiana Jones and no one else can claim that title. “I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy.”
The fifth movie in the franchise, directed by Steven Spielberg himself, was set to drop in July 2019, though it has now been pushed to summer of 2021.
According to a fan Twitter account Discussing Film, the movie is set to begin filming in London in April next year.

However, Shia LaBeouf will not be returning to the hit franchise. He told the Los Angeles Times in 2010 that neither he nor Harrison Ford were particularly satisfied with how the film turned out. Later, in response, Ford called his co-star a “f***ing idiot.”
The franchise has historically made a lot of money and has grossed nearly $2 billion worldwide, $939 million of which was made in the United States. Despite all the criticism, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the best performing film, with it fetching about $786.6m worldwide.
