Who does Harrison Ford want as the next Indiana Jones? “Nobody”

  • The fifth installment of ‘Indiana Jones’ is coming in summer 2021

  • Harrison Ford, ‘Indiana Jones’ himself has said he doesn’t want anybody to play the role, including Chris Pratt

  • Ford explained that he is Indiana Jones, and that “when I’m gone, he’s gone.”

Sorry Chris Pratt, Harrison Ford himself doesn’t really want anyone to play Indiana Jones in the new movie.

Ford, during an interview on ‘The Today Show’, explained that he is Indiana Jones and no one else can claim that title. “I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy.”

The fifth movie in the franchise, directed by Steven Spielberg himself, was set to drop in July 2019, though it has now been pushed to summer of 2021. Ford has been very against this new film.

“This is a hell of a way to tell Chris Pine,” he continued. “I’m sorry, man.” He presumably meant Chris Pratt, who has been rumoured to be interested in playing a younger version of the character. Doesn’t Pratt already have enough limelight as the star of ‘Jurassic Park’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’?

Ford too has also had his fair share of super roles in Hollywood, playing the iconic Han Solo in the ‘Star Wars’ series.
