The K-Pop super group BTS are making their way to Saudi Arabia in October, then there’s a week gap till the next concert in South Korea, could Dubai fill that gap?
Do remember the group getting a Dubai Star and there being the Dubai Star launch event in October, it seems like the perfect storm for a surprise Dubai concert around the corner.
BTS have in the past made it to the UAE, back in 2016, the group made up part of KCON in Abu Dhabi, an annual Korea music festival. That was three years ago now though, fans are demanding another BTS fix.
BTS came to UAE back in 2016 for Kcon and for summer package, We think it’s time for our boys to come back for A CONCERT!!! @ZayedSportsCity we #UAEARMY been waiting for soo long please make it happen

Last year also, Dubai held the SMTown Live event, a music event featuring some of the biggest name in K-Pop. While BTS didn’t make it, it did include Exo, BoA, Girls’ Generation and Super Junior.
Super Junior in fact, one of the more old school K-Pop groups, recently performed a sell-out concert in Jeddah, hopefully then BTS can do the same but in reverse, KSA then UAE.
The Dubai Stars Twitter also sort of hinted at a possible BTS appearance at the launch event in October, saying “Will you be cheering for them [BTS] at our launch event this October?” The dream in peoples’ minds right now is that the group would do a surprise concert of sorts at the Dubai Star launch.

The KSA concert is on October 11, the next concert isn’t till October 26 in Seoul, South Korea, that seems like just enough time for a quick pit stop in Dubai or another emirates.
The group is performing in KSA at the King Fahd International Stadium, a stadium that has a capacity of almost 69,000. Fans on Twitter have been trying to prove that the UAE also has venues of such size that could really draw in a crowd for the group.

The group of seven members currently stand as one of the most popular boy bands in the world, becoming the first K-Pop act to win a Billboard music award and the first to top the Billboard 200 charts an impressive three times.
They have incredible international success, popularising K-Pop outside of just Asia. The group has even been named as some of the most influential people in the world.
Here’s to hoping they make it to Dubai.
