The iPhone’s style appeal could blossom further as lavender colour leaked

  • Internet leaks suggest that Apple‘s new iPhone XR2 may have lavender and green colour options
  • The is already some fan backlash with rumours of Apple dropping its blue and coral colourways
  • iPhone XR’s appeal set to continue to grow as new colours are released

If you’re in the market for an iPhone (and most people are), the iPhone XR is a smart choice.

The more affordable flagship debuted in September 2018 and offers the longest battery life of any iPhone ever, as well as a host of currently on-trend colours, and all for a cheaper price than the XS and XS Max.

If the white, black, blue, coral, yellow or red XRs didn’t call out to you however, maybe the XR2’s green and lavender colourways will.

In a report from MacOtakara, which has links with Apple’s supply chain and is buddy’s with accessory companies in Asia, it claims the XR2 will introduce these two new colours.

Now, if you’re a true Apple historian, you may recall how the iPhone 5C in 2013 came in a pastel green, and if you do recall that, we firstly applaud you. However, the XR2 will get a bit of a facelift and its green variant will be much more vivid and deep than previously.

Rumour has it though that the green and lavender iPhones on the block will bully out the blue and coral options seen on the first XR – probably because they didn’t sell all that well.

Other rumours floating around include how the XR2 will use the bulky new camera style of the iPhone 11, but thankfully without the third lens which fans seemed to have slated online. Even more good news is that avoiding the ugly third lens will save you money as the XR2 will be cheaper than the iPhone 11 flagship.
