LG has unfurled (quite literally) a new rollable television that solves a problem no one knew they had.
The Signature OLED R will stay neatly folded into its aluminum base but transform into a 65-inch 4K TV at the touch of a button.
That’s no mean feat, especially considering foldable technology is just really getting going. According to LG, each unit requires so much craftsmanship that every one of them will be built-to-order by hand.

The idea is to eliminate the big black square that would otherwise sit in your living room when not in use. When the television is rolled up, you are left with a contemporary block of metal covered in speakers.
The TV can unfurl in a number of ways, including Full View, Line View, and Zero View. Full and Zero views are pretty self-explanatory, while line view gives you part of the screen (from which you can control music, view images, etc.).
That aluminum block comes in four colours: signature black, moon gray, topaz blue or toffee brown.
