The new super sedan is faster, lighter and more luxurious than ever

Bentley has unwrapped the new 2021 Flying Spur V8.

The new super-sedan has an upgraded high-performance V8 engine, with reduced weight that should make it more agile. While most people would assume that a luxury sedan was made so you can be a passenger and be driven about place, Bentley has tried to make the Flying Spur as responsive as possible making for a speedy driving experience.

Under the hood you get 542 horsepower courtesy of a four-litre turbocharged V8. The Flying Spur V8 has a top speed just shy of 320-kilometres per hour, and can go from zero to a hundred in just 4.1-seconds.

The Flying Spur V8 has a truly epic fuel capacity, and will be able to travel almost 650 kilometres on a full tank. That’s down to fuel efficiency, and the Flying Spur’s ability to turn off half the V8 cylindres when they are not required.

The new Super Sedan is also a lot lighter than previous models, which helps reduce its carbon footprint significantly.

You will be able to spot the new Bentley Flying Spur on UK roads by the end of the year, quickly followed by an international launch that should see it land in the Middle East early next year.

In other news, Bentley also makes headphones and speakers now (with some help from Naim and Focal).
