The iPhone 12 is set to be a huge launch for Apple (more so than usual).
Update: the new iPhone 12 has arrived. Check out the new iPhone 12 here, the new iPhone 12 mini and the new iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Each year Apple releases its latest smartphone to much fanfare making September a big month on the tech calendar for reviewers, content creators and fanboys.
This year (thanks, pandemic) the launch has been pushed back to October.
Speculation is always rife around what the new iPhone will and won’t have, but for the first time in a long time we’ve found ourselves willing and wanting a concept that has surfaced online to be true.
But, it appears that rumours that Apple will not be including headphones and a charger with iPhone 12 models are true.
The video – put together by TECH 2 see for ConceptsiPhone – shows demonstrates many of the features that fans expect come the Autumn. The video showcases a new iPhone 12 that apes the iPad Pro’s neater, flatter design.
The design includes a fourth camera lens (similar to the Lidar 3D scanner that also appears on the 2020 iPad Pro) and includes a far smaller notch on the front.
There has been recent talk that Apple might update the iPhone with a 120Hz display, however that is probably more speculation than grounded in fact.
Again, take all this with a pinch of salt at the minute. The only two things we do know for sure is that the new iPhone will make use of Apple’s A14 bionic processor, as well as run iOS 14.
Most Apple iPhones are released in September, however tech chatter seems to point to an October 2020 debut. You can blame the pandemic.
