Probably the worst kept secret in the world of technology – the iPhone X – was finally revealed last night, alongside the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. Here’s everything you need to know about the 10th Anniversary of the first iPhone.
Meet the Apple iPhone X
The iPhone X was the ‘one more thing’ of Tim Cook’s show. It rocks an edge-to-edge OLED display – which they call a Super Retina Display – which takes up the entire front of the screen. The home button is replaced by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
Taking the place of the fingerprint sensor is a new facial recognition technology that uses your face to unlock the phone. There is a better camera with new portrait modes and augmented reality upgraded. It also comes with Apple’s new A11 Bionic processor.
It will also boast wireless charging and two additional hours of battery life.

While the 8’s look like iPhone 7’s with glass backs and still have home buttons and Touch ID, they share other upgrades with the iPhone X, like wireless charging, Apple’s new A11 Bionic processor, and True Tone for better color.
