The Italian automaker teamed up with Segway-Ninebot to make special edition kart

Lamborghini just unveiled the ultimate Go-Kart.

The Italian automaker worked with Segway-Ninebot to produce an improved version of the Go-Kart. The Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini edition – the standard version of which is sold by Segway – has been given a Huracan-inspired makeover and a new top speed of 40 kilometres per hour.

Unlike the regular Go-Kart, this one comes in Lamborghini yellow (or the technical term, Giallo Orion). The kart has also been outfitted with Ice Lake Blue LED headlights for better visibility at night.

There’s even an audio emulation system that will recreate the sound of a car’s engine.

You can check out the whole (Chinese) unboxing below:

While the engine isn’t quite up to Lamborghini’s usual speeds, it’s pretty good as far as Go-Karts are concerned. The electric motor can do around 30 kilometers before needing a recharge, and it’s capable of karting around passengers up to 100kg.

The Xiomi Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition costs US$1,500 (a couple hundred more than the standard version). It’s on sale right now via the company’s website.
