Lamborghini pulled the wraps off a new concept car – the V12 Vision GT.
The motor was unveiled ahead of the 2019 Gran Tourismo Championships in Monte Carlo. It’s thought that the car will be featured in Sony’s highly-celebrated PS4 game of the same name later this year.
According to Stefano Domenicali, the Chairman of Lamborghini – the new car is all about presenting their vision of why a hypercar of the future will look like.

“Lamborghini is a very young brand, and this is why we are here today to present our newest virtual vision in the form of a real model, with a highly futuristic and cool design,” said Domenicali.
He hopes the new car will “be enjoyed by the young generation of racing game and super sports car enthusiasts.”

The Vision GT has only one single-seat, using a Sian FKP37 drivetrain.
Inspiration was taken from the Lamborghini Marzal from 1968 – which had similar hexagon-inspired side windows.

While this game has just been unveiled in a digital environment, for now, it’s hoped that a concept model – will come along in 2020. Because when a car looks this good, it would be a shame to leave in in virtual reality.
