The Mandalorian AR Experience has just dropped on Google Play, letting you “play” with the characters in augmented reality from your living room.
The app – which was produced by Google and Lucasfilm – is available right now on Google’s App store.
The Mandalorian AR Experience lets you relive moments from the first season. Users can bring characters from the Disney+ series, including Mando and Baby Yoda, to your living room.
The app uses Google’s ARCore technology, which lets it create scenes utilizing your existing environment (a lamp, the sofa, a cabinet, etc.) for better 3D rendering. Users can also discover and unlock effects, depending on how you interact with the game.
The interactive game is not available on every Android device, however. You can check out the full list of Mando-approved devices right here.
Google says other devices will be added over time, but they would have to be 5G compatible (despite having a 5G connection not being required to launch the app).
