Breitling has unwrapped three limited edition watches that are exclusive to our region in the Middle East.
Part of the Aviator 8 collection, each has the same bold face as you’d expect from a pilot’s watch, however the dial proudly displays Indian numerals (in watch terms, that means the numbers are in Arabic.
There are three Aviator 8 models in total – which are available in either 100 or 250 pieces.
First up is the Aviator 8 Chronograph 43 Middle East Limited Edition, which comes with a green dial and a matte finish with tone-on-tone subdials. It has black nickel-played hour and minute hands, and the large numerals have been coated in Super-LumiNova.
Under the hood you get a Breitling Caliber 13, that is a COSC-certified chronometer and water resistant to 100 metres. It has a power reserve of 48 hours.
The Chronograph 43 Middle East model is limited to 100 pieces.
Next up is the Aviator 8 Automatic Middle East Edition, again with a green dial but this time on a green leather strap. It has a smaller 41-milimeter case, which houses Breitling’s Caliber 17 movement – with a power reserve of 38 hours.
The Aviator 8 Automatic 41 is limited to 250 pieces.
Finally, the Breilting Aviator 8 Middle East Limited Edition comes with a DLC-coated case and a rotating bezel. It is powered by the sale Caliber 17 movement as the Chronograph 43, and comes with a striking blue dial.
It too is limited to 250 pieces.
Speaking about the watches, Managing Director, Breitling Middle East, India and Africa, Aed Adwan commented: ”Our Aviator 8 collection is much loved within the region, we therefore choose to develop three watches from this collection in a special series exclusively for the Middle East market. The series, which is now available across the region, includes two watches with a military green dial and one with a striking blue dial.”
All three will soon be available in boutiques around the region. Price is on request.
