The open-world sci-fi shooter is proving worth the wait (if it doesn’t get delayed again, that is)

Despite being pushed back (almost constantly) the release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is inching closer and closer. And to further tease its fans, CD Project Red is releasing more and more gameplay footage.

Today saw the release of a new trailer (albeit, for the German market) which gives gamers a good idea of what they can expect from the game’s visuals.

The release has been pushed back to make “many improvements” including those impressive graphics. Previously, the game’s developers said part of the reason why it has been delayed three times so far is for them to include next-generation consoles and their beefier graphics into the game’s code.

The new release date is set for December 10 (let’s hope that doesn’t get pushed back again).

The new trailer showcases the game’s main location of Night City, including neon lights to its flamboyant characters that walk the streets.

The footage includes shots of the city through the day and the night, as well as shows off story cut-scenes and a short clip of Keanu Reeves character.

The footage also gives gamers a glimpse of the type of customization they will be able to add to their character.

Cyberpunk 2077 should be released (if we are lucky…) on December 10 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
