Stuck inside with little to due during the pandemic? Sony has you covered.
It has quietly made five games free, in an effort to help entertain the 4.5-billion people currently in self-isolation.
If you are a PlayStation Plus member, you have probably already seen two of the games: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Dirt Rally 2.0 – both of which are well worth the time investment.
Sony’s new Play at Home initiative also has the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free (so perhaps get through those before moving on to the fourth game) as well as the indie hit game, Journey.
The Nathan Drake collection features all three of the treasure hunter’s PS3 games, this time remastered for PS4. It’s one of PlayStation’s most enduring franchises, which sees the titular Drake travel the world raiding tombs and taking on baddies.
Finally, Knack 2 is also available for free – but for some reason only on the German PSN store.
The Play at Home initiative was created by Sony to assist independent developers during the pandemic with US$10 million in funding.
