And Beyonce leads the pack with nine nominations

Popstar Beyonce is already having a decent 2021 Grammy Awards, with a grand total of nine nominations.

Her musical film ‘Black Is King’ appears to have propelled her to the front of the pack. That also includes Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and rapper Roddy Ricch who all have six nominations.

This has been one of the hardest-hit years for the music industry since the advent of streaming services, due to the coronavirus pandemic stopping most live performances. However, it marked a return of ‘feel good’ pop to the Grammy’s top categories.

Justin Bieber is now back in the nominations (after missing out last year) with a total of four. And after sweeping the awards last year, Billie Eilish has also picked up another four.

Megan Thee Stallion (who has had a bumper year) also picked up her first Grammy nominations, with four.
