The Batman director Matt Reeves has confirmed that Green Lantern star Peter Sarsgaard is joining the Worlds of DC movie.
Reeves took to Twitter to share a GIF of the actor, which has been the director’s chosen method of making cast announcements for the film since he signed on the direct the film.

It’s not yet clear which character Sarsgaard will be playing, but speculation has lead fans he will be playing Harvey Dent.
Some of Sarsgaard’s other credits include the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven, the Oscar-nominated Jackie and the Johnny Depp-led Black Mass.
So far the rest of the cast includes Robert Pattinson as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone.
