It’s a water show straight out of Vegas

Dubai’s reputation for doing things ‘bigger’ and ‘better’ is known the world over. There is little doubt that the city’s first-ever resident live show, La Perle, falls very much into those two categories.

Best described as a “theatrical aquatic show” the likes of sell out Las Vegas venues and have made Cirque du Soleil a household name and sell out Las Vegas venues. The debut of La Perle by Dragone is the UAE’s first dramatic leap into becoming a hub of year-round big-stage entertainment.

Located in a 1,300 seat, purpose-built venue in Al Habtoor City, the ambitious scale of the wrap around circular stage – which has a deep pool of water at its centre – feels surprisingly intimate. Without giving away too much, the 90-minute show features some mind bending visuals, indoor waterfalls and some death-defying acrobatic stunts that are well worth the ticket price.

The show takes place twice daily, five days a week. AED400 to AED1,600.
