My work as a classical musician demands a total dedication to the craft and, while I believe in my talent, I can constantly see areas of improvement. Every time I walk onto a stage I want to take risks—my only regrets are when I don’t take them. If I play something better than I did before, or than I thought I was capable of, then I am happy.

In our art form we spend endless numbers of hours honing a skillset that may not bear fruit for years—which is why I believe that the greatest things take time to deepen and enrich.
