Live from Cupertino: Apple reveals its new iPhone 11
It's D-day! Well, if you're an Apple or tech fan that is. The San Francisco based company is set to reveal all the details for its 2019 iPhone lineup, which rumour has it will include the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
So what do we know so far?
Esquire Middle East previously reported that there will be a host of improvements in the new iPhones. You can expect better processing power, extra camera capabilities and 5G network support. However, the company has been extremely tight-lipped about any design changes. Reports suggest the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 XS and iPhone 11 XR will look mighty similar to last year’s models.
When can we get our hands on the new phone?
According to MacRumours, the iPhone 11 series will be available to pre-order just three days after the big event on September 13, before hitting the stores on September 20.
The event kicks off in 11 hours at 9pm Dubai time.

However, as with any big tech launch, there have been leaks.
BGR’s Zach Epstein reports:
“Instead of having a metal frame poke through the glass on the back of this year’s iPhones, Apple’s iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro handsets will feature a back that is molded out of a single piece of glass. The glass will curve up to create the camera bump so that there are no seams whatsoever.”
