We are weeks away from a new Apple iPhone 11 launch.
Apple generally chooses the first or second week of September to announce its latest generation of blowers, and it seems 2019 will be no different.
The tech company released its next beta version of iOS 13 to developers this weekend, and cunning techies managed to find an image suggesting the new iPhone 11 will be launched on September 10.
Apple’s yearly smartphone gathering always draws much fanfare, and anticipation of the new iPhone 11 is at fever pitch.
The image in question, found by Brazilian media iHelp BR, found an image named ‘HoldForRelease’. The image shows the calendar app icon on Apple’s homescreen set to Tuesday, September 10. According to The Verge, when Apple released its previous smartphone, it sent out the same image in the software, with the correct launch date.
Previous launches have all happened within days of the rumoured September 10 date, so it’s likely that this prediction is legit.
Three new iPhones are expected to be announced this year, successors to the current crème of iPhone XS, XS Max and XR.
While the design of the devices isn’t expected to be that different (Apple tends to work from the ‘if it ain’t broke, why fix it’ school of iPhone design) the cameras will be getting a major overhaul – including triple camera sensors around the back and a new dedicated night-mode.
