The time has come to sit back (but don’t lean too far) and relax as you enjoy a movie on the water as The Louvre Abu Dhabi is hosting a Kayak Cinema Show This Saturday, June 26, as well as the following Saturday.
Seahawk Water Sports have partnered with The Louvre Abu Dhabi to organize this event as part of their kayaking tours. The film being shown will be ‘Hair Love’ which is a short film about a young girl who’s trying to style her frizzy hair. The story revolves around love, confidence and family and its theme matches the new Children’s Museum exhibition.
A wide range of water based activities is offered by the Louvre Abu Dhabi outside of the regular dry land tours, including a sunrise or full moon kayaking tour which also takes you on a special tour of the museum during different times of the day. Whatever floats your boat.
The films will be screened at 6:00pm, 7:00pm and 8:00pm on both weekends and tickets cost AED 126. An added bonus is that if you’re a member of their Art Club, then you qualify for a 20 percent discount on all of their kayaking tours. If you’re planning to bring your children then they must be six years old or older.
