Casio pulled the wraps off a new limited-edition G-Shock this weekend, a collaboration between it and award-winning dance music DJ Dash Berlin. The new model (GA110DB-7A) will be available exclusively at Virgin Megastores in the UAE.
What makes this new model unique is the official Dash Berlin logo on the band and band loop, case-back engraving and limited-edition packaging. It rocks a white case and band, along with rose gold accents on the face and band.
The new model – part of the GA110DB range – has a large face and standard G-Shock technology. That means it’s shock resistant and can dive to depths of 200-metres.
The watch also comes with magnetic resistance, an LED light, world time function (for 29 time zones and 48-cities), five daily alarms, a 1/1000th second stopwatch, speed indicator, countdown timer and mute function.
Casio has crammed all this top-notch watch technology in a hardy (and chunky) 51.2mm case.
Of course, this watch was produced in partnership with Dash Berlin. The dance DJ is known for his high-energy performances, and so the partnership between himself and a watch that is known to survive almost anything makes sense.
He sported this individual watch during a recent performance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami while promoting his latest album.
The Casio G-Shock GA110DB-7A is available in Virgin Megastores around the UAE. It’s priced at AED649 (US$175).
