Leonardo DiCaprio is the very first name on almost any Hollywood manager’s most-wanted list — and that is reflected in the huge number of projects he is linked to. Lately, the actor has reportedly been weighing up the chance to play The Joker in an origin story.
However, according to Business Insider, that is not the only comic book film Leo’s got his eye on. Speaking at a conference on Friday, the celebrated Marvel author Stan Lee said that Leo would like to play with him in a biopic.
The 94-year-old Lee said: “Believe it or not, I’ve already discussed it with Leonardo DiCaprio. He is a neighbour of mine and we’re talking one day a few months before, and he said, ‘Boy it would be interesting to do your story on the screen.’ Gotta make certain the guy can do it.”
DiCaprio is a big Marvel fan, says lee, who “has all of the walls [of the home] coated with large Marvel posters.”
So Leo’s been on the lookout for a comic book film all along – only one with no spandex.
