The popular Arabic-language version of Come Dine with Me has just gone live on OSN and OSN’s streaming channels.
The show is based upon the popular British reality TV show of the same name that features strangers hosting dinner parties with the best host winning a cash prize.
The 45-show first series was filmed over the summer, and will be shown each day of the week. Contestants will come together from around the region, including Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Tunisia and Oman.
The show is narrated by Egyptian stand-up comedian Khalid Mansour.
Like the UK format, it will feature four strangers who will take turns to host dinner parties in their home. After every evening, contestants score the host out of ten. At the end of the week, the host with the most number of points wins.
Obviously, OSN is pretty chuffed at its new launch. Its interim chief content officer said, “Following months of planning we are beyond thrilled to launch one of our first OSN Original productions, ‘Yalla Neta’asha,’ to regional audiences. The series was filmed in the UAE over the last few months, so it is a truly homegrown production,” he said in a statement.
“With ‘Yalla Neta’asha’ we firmly cement our commitment to providing curated content and bringing the best in entertainment to our audiences in the Middle East.
