Emirates is letting A380 First and Business class passengers use its lounge, as well as shower spa, on flights.
The services were put on pause during the coronavirus pandemic, but now Emirates says they are re-opening those areas with additional health and safety measures.
The A380 lounge will now be a take-away only bar, with limited seating capacity and social distancing measure in place. It will continue to serve snacks and drinks for guests to grab and go.
More importantly, First Class customers can once again shower at 40,000 feet. Starting November 1st you will be able to shower in the sky, with new hygiene protocols in place.
Emirates will also launch a new welcome drink called ‘Vitality Boost’ which aims to keep travellers in tip top condition. The nutrient-rich dish is packed with antioxidants, and is free from both gluten and added sugar.
