Dunhill Fall/Winter 2020 – Shoes

Dunhill has just released its Fall/Winter 2020 collection – and a key part of that are its shoes.

Dunhill has been a dab hand at leatherworking for decades, as evident by their accessories and outerwear. That expertise has been translated this year into hardy, functional but most importantly stylish shoes.

Footwear blends in with the rest of the collection in that it doesn’t draw much attention to itself. Expect simple blacks and browns in classical hues, with the occasional detail (such as a simple gold buckle, or Brogueing around a chunky rubber sole.

Elsewhere, brothel creepers and Link strap loafers provide the grounding, accessorized with the new Lock bags.

Like the footwear, the whole collection very dark and tailored, with a few pops of colour handled by the details. Expect shiny-cuffed trousers and trench coats in black, red and teal. Straps have been fashioned from such materials as eel skin, to create some extravagantly sophisticated accessories. And for the feet: chunky leather shoes and chisel-toed loafers.
